NEW JERSEY MOTOR VEHICLE NEXT-OF-KIN REGISTRY (*PLEASE SHARE*)

Emergency contact information is used in many places—by employers, doctors, schools, and more—but many residents may not know that it can be voluntarily provided to the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission in case of a severe vehicle crash or a medical emergency.

Law enforcement officers can only use this very private information to locate your designated emergency contact should a significant medical emergency or a serious accident occur.
